As a strategic component of the company's commitment to create innovative customer solutions, Misys has launched the Open Source Solutions division to develop and support open source software solutions.

Today, the team is fostering community involvement to create new services and applications that will help solve our industry's most difficult problems.

The team is focusing on:

• creating interoperability solutions that connect electronic health information systems to improve healthcare delivery.
• creating an open carbon information portal, followed by an open source carbon trading infrastructure, to help corporations and government entities reduce their carbon footprint
